The Robbinsville Rampage 10U team stole the lead late in Game 1 of the 2021 Trouble In The Bubble Tournament with a 4-1 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at one with the Rampage batting in the top of the seventh when Olivia W singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. In the top of the sixth inning, the Rampage tied things up at one. Alyssa T drove in one when Alyssa singled.
Game 2 proved to be a battle after going 6 innings without a single run crossing the plate. As time ran out, the Rampage settled for a 0-0 tie as they moved to the next round as the #3 seed.
In Game 3, Robbinsville Rampage 10U's effort to come back from down six runs in the third inning came up just short, as they fell 7-6 on Saturday. The Rampage tallied six runs in the failed comeback. Olivia W, Cassidy L, Lilly P, Paige M, and Jules A came through with RBIs to lead the rally. The team notched five runs in the fourth inning. Robbinsville Rampage 10U's offense in the inning came from singles by Lilly and Paige, a walk by Olivia, and a groundout by Cassidy. Unfortunately, the game clock ran out and the rally was cut short just as big hitter Riley D stepped up to the plate with runners on 1st and 3rd.
